About This Episode and Guest James Lawrence:
Ever had an audacious goal?
A goal so far out there that people thought there was no way that you accomplish it?
Meet James Lawrence. Also known as the “Iron Cowboy”.
James is no stranger to audacious goals. The current holder of two world records (most Half Ironman’s in a year and most Full Ironman’s in a year), James set out to push the envelope midway through 2015.
Keep in mind a full Ironman Triathlon is comprised of 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike, and a 26.2 mile marathon, James set out to complete the “50-50-50”.
Completing 50 Full Ironman Triathlons, in 50 days, and one in each of the 50 US states.
No one though a feat like this was possible. Well, that is except for his family and amazing team.
Even with some of his sponsors thinking it was a long shot, James battled adversity throughout the journey and inevitably completed his mission.
Why put himself through something like that?
James not only wanted to push his mind, but challenge what most people think is possible. Showing the work that through hard work, dedication, and an unwavering belief anything can be accomplished.

Resources Suggested In The Episode:
Having followed James’ story for over a year now, I am constantly saying to myself “Wow. Anything is possible”.
James’ mom used to tell him “10% of life is what happens to us. 90% of life is how we choose to react to it.”
If you want something different in your life, you are going to have to do something different to get it.
I challenge you to listen to James’ message and take a look at your own life. If you need to make some changes, you’ll know. There is no reason why you can’t make it happen.
